This vintage 1993 Apple Adjustable Keyboard M1242 still works, is in very good condition, and is in its original box with all the original parts, cords, and paperwork. The box, documentation, numeric keypad, and wrist wrests are all in very good condition, with no discoloration, since they were never used. The keyboard was used and has turned slightly yellow over the years. The keyboard is the only item that shows any signs of wear, primarily smudge prints on the keys. This was an exceptionally well-designed ergonomic keyboard that used Alps SKFS switches, which provide tactile feedback with a slightly "clicky" feel. This rare, discontinued item would make a great gift for an Apple collector. You get: Adjustable Keyboard
Numeric keypad
2 cables
2 wrist wrests for the keyboard and 1 wrist rest for the keypad
User manual
Installation disk
Packing list
Software License
The only thing missing is the warranty card. I've been the only owner and user of this keyboard since I purchased it from the MIT Computer Connection in 1993. I tested it on December 5, 2023, and the keyboard and numeric keypad both work. The only thing that doesn't work on the keyboard is the CAPS LOCK. You can type capital letters; you just have to use the shift key instead of CAPS LOCK. In case you want to use this keyboard, I am i ncluding an iMate USB to ADB adapter in this sale, as well as an Apple mouse that also works . NO RETURNS ACCEPTED. So, please look carefully at all the photos, and contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
